About Us

Hearing is crucial for quality of life and connects us with the world around us.  It is our hearing that alerts us to danger signals that are out of our visual field.  It is hearing that connects us relationally to those around us and stimulates our minds.  Ad-Tec’s goal is to “provide Advanced Technology hearing aids and ongoing supportive care in your quest for optimum hearing.”

Janice Combs / Ad-Tec is the only Starkey hearing alliance member in our area.

Janice S. Combs ACA/BC-HIS

Janice has been working with the hearing impaired for over 20 years and is certified in audioprosthology and a board certified hearing healthcare provider.  She had her own office for seven years in Daytona Beach, Florida.  After working in other local offices for four years, she is now confident of the need of an office such as Ad-Tec to help meet the needs of the hard of hearing in the Huntsville area.

While our vision is to be treasured, when asked which she missed most, Helen Keller, both deaf and blind, responded that the lack of hearing was more difficult.

Conna M. Canada, M.S., CCC-A BC-HIS

Conna, certified audiologist, licensed hearing healthcare provider and former owner of the Miracle Ear franchise in North Alabama for seventeen years, shares this passion.  She serves the hard-of-hearing through the Good Samaritan Health Clinic in the Cullman area and is consulting audiologist at Ad-Tec.

Jana L. Roy

Jana is the newest member of the Ad-Tec team.  Jana will be working part-time as office manager.
